Reading and analysis of basic scientific articles; group discussions & comprehension activities; presentation of findings.

Erforderliche VorkenntnisseThe course is designed for students who wish to revise the basic elements of English in an academic context. Students who have an English level of B2 or higher should not take this course.
Students are expected to have some knowledge of:
- basic tenses (present/past/future)
- correct word order
- prepositions of time and place
- simple adverbs and adjectives
Students are expected to be able to:
- express themselves clearly at an elementary level
- understand basic sentences and frequently used phrases
- perform tasks requiring simple exchange of information
