      Overview

Despite increasing digitalization - the periphery of electronic circuits remains analogue. Whether controlling transistors, processing measurement signals or amplifying sensor signals with low distortion - analog technology is an integral part of most mechatronic devices and many automation solutions. The ANT1 module teaches the electronic basics for successfully reading sensor values into a control unit and using a control unit to control actuators such as motors. In addition to the theory lessons, two laboratory blocks are provided in which simple analog circuits are constructed and measured.

      • Function of diode, MOSFET and bipolar transistor
      • MOSFET and bipolar transistor as switches
      • Input and output circuits
      • Structure and function of the operational amplifier (OpAmp)
      • Analysis of circuits with ideal operational amplifiers
      • Basic circuits with operational amplifiers
      • Simple non-idealities of operational amplifiers: Unity gainBandwidth, offset
      • Simple passive and active low-pass and high-pass filters
      • Circuit simulation: SPICE software
