The library is located on the 3rd floor of the FHNW Campus Muttenz.
The library provides technical literature for the FHNW Schools domiciled on the Muttenz Campus (Architecture, Civil Engineering & Geomatics; Life Sciences; Education; Social Work).
It offers media such as technical/specialist books, journals, teaching aids and reference works, as well as daily newspapers, videos, picture books and children/young people's literature (fiction and non-fiction).
In addition to the physical stock, it offers a wide range of electronic resources (e-books, e-journals, databases).
E-media
For on-site use of the library we provide workspaces, research stations, a photocopier, a book scanner and one-to-one help/advice by our staff.
As a new user you can register online using the NEBIS network registration form. Having done this, come to the counter in person with some official ID to have your registration activated.
By registering as a user you accept the conditions of use.
If you already hold a pass for another NEBIS library or are registered for one of the IDS networks (Universities of Basel, Bern, Lucerne, St. Gallen, Zurich), you do not have to register again. Your user card is valid at our library, too. However, please come to the counter before you start using the library to have the necessary adjustments made.
Our library is a member of the NEBIS network. Use of the library is free of charge and items can be searched directly in the NEBIS catalogue.
