University access for refugee students

Integral_Logo.png

The aim of the Integral project is to facilitate access to higher education for student refugees at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland and to accompany them on their way to university.

As part of a one-year support programme, language skills are promoted and the first modules in the desired field of study can be attended, whereby the ECTs acquired are credited towards admission to regular studies. Students who have fled are also provided with voluntary students as mentors who support them in questions of study and everyday life. The triage office of the project is responsible for coordination, support, advice and promotion.

What do we want to achieve with it? As a university, we will assume social and societal responsibility, work for the realisation of equal opportunities and protection against discrimination in the university environment, promote existing potential and recognise diversity as a valuable component of society.
