With the establishment of the FHNW School of Computer Science, we actively tackle the challenges of digitalisation. We are strengthening the visibility of one of the defining topics of our time and giving computer science at FHNW its own home. In doing so, we enhance the competitiveness of Northwestern Switzerland and help address the shortage of skilled professionals.

Advisory Board
Jürg Haller
Member of the Management Board and Deputy Rector of the BBB Baden Vocational School. He is responsible for ICT professions, IT services, as well as e-learning and knowledge management, and plays a key role in shaping the digital transformation of vocational education.
Stefan Hubeli
Project Manager at the Economic Development Agency of the Canton of Aargau. He brings experience from the finance and tech sectors and specialises in data-driven solutions, AI/ML and technology consulting.
Dr. Elisabeth Maier
Chair of the Board of Directors of Karakun AG. She holds a PhD in computer science and is co-founder of Karakun AG. Her focus lies on the application of artificial intelligence in text processing and semantic search.
Flavio Müller
Head of Metering Systems at CKW. He completed an apprenticeship as a computer scientist (Federal VET Diploma) and studied Data Science at FHNW. He contributes current expertise from the digital transformation of the energy sector to the Advisory Board.
Tobias Quelle
CIO and member of the Executive Board of Brack Alltron AG. He has more than 15 years of leadership experience in e-commerce and IT, including at Digitec Galaxus, and is also a mentor and lecturer in digital transformation.
Adina Renner
Visual Editor at The New York Times. She specialises in data-driven visualisations, infographics and interactive storytelling, combining data journalism with innovative storytelling formats.
Prof. Dr. Marcel Salathé
Professor of Digital Epidemiology and Co-Director of the EPFL AI Center. He is a leading expert in digital health and is committed to strengthening the connection between science and society.
Marianne Wildi
President of the Aargau Chamber of Industry and Commerce and Chair of the Board of Directors of Hypothekarbank Lenzburg. She is considered a fintech pioneer and is committed to innovation and sustainability in the financial sector.
