Introduction to Business Information Technology

The goal of this module is to provide a broad overview of relevant tools, frameworks and standards at the beginning of the BIT course of studies. The course helps to establish a basic common understanding of BIT and to establish a common denominator for students coming from different business as well as IT backgrounds.

Students will not only understand the importance and benefit of BIT for an enterprise, but also understand its overall complexity and the necessity to work with common abstractions and models to describe and manage them.
