Challenge providers must ensure that an appropriate amount of data is available for the makers (i.e. challenge implementers) to implement the challenges.
If data sensitiveness is relevant for any of the challenge provider, a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) must be provided by the challenge provider and signed by the respective makers before the challenge is implemented.
The MAKEathon organization is exempt from any liability concerning any data privacy issue between challenge providers and the respective makers. The challenge provider must explicitly inform (verbally and in clear English written statements) the makers if the solution cannot be implemented using particular Software vendors. The communication must occur before the makers select the challenge.
