Beethoven-Akademie V, Hochschule für Musik Basel

Für eine aktive Teilnahme an diesem ganztägigen Workshop ist eine Anmeldung obligatorisch. Sie richtet sich an alle Teilnehmer von Focus Beethoven, insbesondere den Instrumentalist:innen, die im Orchester mitwirken. Playing music engages mind, body and emotions. Alexander Technique's toolkit connects all three in the quest for musical expression. This Beethoven Akademie, presented by Judith Kleinman and Peter Buckoke from the Royal College of Music in London, will look at the body-mind-set that allows instrumental and vocal technique to retreat to the background, bringing inspired, connected performance to the fore, from the intimacy of chamber music to the vast expressive horizons of late Beethoven. Skills of self-regulation and co-regulation help bring performers to a state of freedom and graceful presence, vital for intuitive, mutually realised creativity.
