Electro-acoustic works by Andrea Neumann and Mads Emil Nielsen
Creepage Current 2
Andrea Neumann (inside piano, mixer)
Mads Emil Nielsen (electronics)
Neumann and Nielsen’s collaboration was initiated in 2014 with a common focus on creating music combining graphic scores, open improvisations and remixing.
In 2018 their duo album Refound was released on arbitrary (Copenhagen). In the same year they produced a 4-channel composition, presented at Geoff Stern Art Space in Berlin, and in Copenhagen and Milan. Tactility, three-dimensionality, repetition, rhythmical elements, transparency and textural drones are common ground for their actual work.

What Happened III-Now – Laetitia Sonami (2025)
Voice, live electronics, Codecell sensor, Max-MSP, the lady’s ball
the lady’s glove – archival footage, film (2025)
OCCAM IX – Eliane Radigue for Laetitia Sonami (2013)
What Happened III-NOW is a recreation of her iconic What Happened piece from 1980, with live voice intercepted by a misfit AI model of her voice and live electronics controlled with her latest instrument, the lady’s ball(s). OCCAM IX was composed for Sonami by the famed French composer Eliane Radigue for live electronics and Sonami’s instrument, the Spring Spyre.
Archival video of Sonami’s lady’s glove (1991-2020) will be screened in between both pieces.
