It encompasses writing texts, creating graphics, examining documents for usability, and much more.
The module enables students to express themselves effectively and efficiently on technical topics in English in a variety of contexts.Learning objectivesUpon successful completion of the module, participants can/will:
- appreciate the reiterative writing process and use it effectively
- build skills such as information literacy through research of technical topics and use of authentic information
- plan and conduct an interview in English
- evaluate their own written communication and provide feedback on their peer’s communication
- express themselves effectively and with a degree of confidence in both spoken and written English.
