How to build a startup while studying

On 15 November 2022, the ImpactLab and MBA study programmes of FHNW hosted an inspiring event addressed to students interested in entrepreneurship.

Four FHNW students shared their stories and lessons learned from starting their businesses while studying. Anita Beka (Verein morn), Janick Fischer (McomTech), Nathalie Bruttin (Aqualon) and Jürg Gnos (spontastic) provided valuable insights from their entrepreneurial journeys and offered hands-on advice for aspiring founders:

      • Always share your ideas to get continuous feedback.
      • Don’t be shy to ask for help.
      • Don’t be afraid of failure.
      • Set your priorities – successfully finishing your studies should come first.

Although the four presenters came from different backgrounds and have established their startups in different industries, they were united in their passion and their drive to make their business dreams come true. The around 80 attendees took advantage of the Q&A session and the networking apéro to gain further inspiration from the successful young entrepreneurs.
