Many reasons can prevent students from going abroad for a whole semester, such as family obligations, working while studying, travel restrictions as experienced with the Covid-19 pandemic, or concerns about environmental issues. Virtual Exchange enhances opportunities to gain international experience without travelling.
The FHNW School of Business offers courses that are open to students from different programmes at the School of Business, for incoming students and for students studying at a partner university of the School of Business. The courses mainly cover intercultural aspects of a business topic and range from intensive programmes (several days) to weekly semester courses. The programmes aim to integrate international collaboration of students and faculty from different universities.
The attendance of Virtual Exchange courses is free for students from the School of Business, for incoming students and for students studying at a partner university of the School of Business.
Likewise, students from the School of Business are encouraged to attend Virtual Exchange courses from partner universities. Please check our partner universities’ websites for any information on respective offers; potential fees may incur. Further information about Virtual Exchange Offers at our Partner Universities
