    Public Transportation

    The campus is less than an hour from Basel, Bern, Zurich and just a two-minute walk from Brugg station. It is optimally accessible by public transportation.

    By Car

    Take highway A3 and use exit 19 Brugg-Windisch. Please note when programming your naviga-tion system that the campus is located in the municipality of Windisch. For passenger vehicles, 240 public parking spaces are available in the underground levels of Building 5 (P2).

    Campus Life

    Lerning

    At the Brugg-Windisch campus, there's the right place for every learning opportunity.

    • If you want to work with concentration and in peace, you can retreat to one of the study spaces in the library.
    • If you want to work together with colleagues, the study areas in the open zones in the Passarelle and on floors 1 to 3 of Building 5 are ideal.

    Food and Drinks

    You receive a discount with your FH-car in the cafeteria on the campus in Brugg-Windisch. Or you can bring your own food and heat it up in one of the microwaves in Building 5. Seating is available both indoors and outdoors. For a snack or coffee in between, the Campus Bar on the ground floor of Building 5 is perfect.

    Going Out

    During the semester, cultural events take place regularly on the Brugg-Windisch campus, including the concert series live@Campus. As part of Campus Cinema, a student-selected film is shown at regular intervals at the Kulturhaus Odeon.

    Sports

    The FHNW University Sports offers a diverse sports program. You have the opportunity to engage in regular physical activity and try out unfamiliar sports. With the FH-Card, most university sports offerings are free.

    students.fhnw represents student interests to the university. The student council students.htu&hsi is the contact point for students and provides you with tips and tricksyou’re your everyday student life. The student council regularly organizes events such as barbecues, sports activities, game nights, or an annual LAN party.
