In quite a surprise, our FHNW Rover Team qualified in second place among 64 contenders! We. Are. Excited!
What a year it has been. Last Summer, two electrical engineering students pitched the idea of building a rover for the ERC to their dean, who in return pitched the idea to the deans of other engineering majors. The FHNW Rover Team was created. During the course of two semesters we designed our rover, Meyer 1, with one goal in mind: Qualify for the on-site competition and travel to Poland to meet the other teams. And yesterday, we did it. we qualified for the on-site competition! Our team could not be happier, especially as we qualified in second place.
