On August 29, 2025, the 10th university of the FHNW opened its doors! By founding a new School of Computer Science, we are pointing the way to the future and actively shaping digitalization.

At the campus in Brugg-Windisch and from summer 2026 at the campus in Basel, we offer Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes, continuing education courses and application-oriented research and development across the entire spectrum from artificial intelligence (AI) and computer science to security and digitalization.

We provide impetus for sound and practical IT training, promote lifelong learning and strengthen digital innovation in Northwestern Switzerland.

We are a team of over 150 experts in the fields of computer science, data science, and digitalization under one roof.
