On January 1, 2025, a milestone was reached as the FHNW School of Computer Science began its operations. Behind the scenes, extensive development work was underway: we are creating new programs, reforming our curriculum, and building diverse areas of expertise. All of this is in line with our mission, which is harnessing the transformative power of computer science to shape a meaningful and sustainable future.
The FHNW School of Computer Science is dedicated to providing lifelong, meaningful learning opportunities through education and continuing education. In applied research and development, our staff delivers comprehensive, practical expertise that we make available to business and industry through our services. Beyond our work in these four key areas, the School of Computer Science also plays a leading role in connecting the computer science community of northwestern Switzerland.
