Cooperations, grants and funding.

The vast majority of our research projects are conducted in conjunction with partner companies. Around two thirds of projects are financed either by funds that aim to promote innovation or directly by industry partners, while the final third are sponsored by national and international research programmes. The School of Life Sciences is at the heart of the global life sciences industry with which it enjoys close ties – one of the reasons that it has achieved a top ranking among Swiss universities from both a qualitative and quantitative point of view.
