About us

About us

Located in Northwestern Switzerland at the heart of the Basel Life Sciences Cluster, we play a key role in shaping the future of the sector, both regionally and across Europe.

With around 300 dedicated staff, we integrate teaching, applied research and innovation to address tomorrow’s social, scientific and economic challenges.

We drive digital transformation in the life sciences. With a focus on sustainability, we develop preventive and therapeutic products, innovate medical devices and medicines, design pioneering production methods and engineer resource-efficient environmental technologies.

Our state-of-the-art campus includes one of Europe’s most modern Process Technology Centres, equipped with cutting-edge automation and digital infrastructure, providing unique opportunities for research, development and education.
