Laboratories of the Institute of Thermal and Fluid Engineering

The FHNW Institute of Thermal and Fluid Engineering has an excellent laboratory and simulation infrastructure.

The experimental and the simulation infrastructure provide comprehensive access to industrial tasks in application-orientated research and development. Various laboratories (water laboratory, combustion laboratory, piston engine laboratory) as well as wind tunnels and corresponding measurement and simulation techniques are already available at the institute. Test benches can also be set up in the laboratories as required.
