Bonseyes Marketplace for Artificial Intelligence
The FHNW Institute for Interactive Technologies develops a marketplace for the open development of systems of artificial intelligence (AI). The marketplace allows connecting in-house AI pipelines with the AI pipelines of partner companies for collaboratively developing AI systems in a controlled and trusted manner.
Technologies
Deep Learning, AI Pipelines, Ecosystems
Objectives
Reduction of investments and acceleration of time-to-market by order of magnitude in comparison to the monolithic in-house development of systems of artificial intelligence.
Background
The development of systems of artificial intelligence depends on huge data archives and computational infrastructure. At the same time, large American and Chinese companies concentrate talent and technologies. As a result, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are getting excluded from this important segment of the digital economy.
Project Results
The Bonseyes project develops a marketplace that allows companies to collaborate for the development of systems of artificial intelligence. With the marketplace, companies can share investments and resources and establish new generations of business models. The marketplace leads to a standardisation of AI pipelines and offers access to the latest generations of tools that are being developed by European research.
