About us

With 1600 students and 1000 further education students, the FHNW School of Social Work is one of the largest providers of social work education in Switzerland.

We have around 240 teaching staff, research associates, administrative and technical staff, and university centre staff.

Our Management Board provides executive leadership. It consists of the Director, the Heads of Institutes, the Directors of our Bachelor’s and Master’s Programmes, the Director of the University Centre, and the Head of Services..

Our extensive network promotes exchange between students and graduates in the areas of research, teaching and learning, and further education. Our specialist network includes:
