How to Get to Us
How to Reach Us by Public Transport
The campus is located less than one hour from Basel, Bern and Zurich, and just a two-minute walk from Brugg railway station. It is easily accessible by public transport.
How to Reach Us by Car
Take motorway A3 and exit at 19 Brugg-Windisch. Please note when entering your destination into your navigation system that the campus is located within the municipality of Windisch.
For cars, 240 public parking spaces are available in the underground levels of Building 5 (P2).
Campuslife
Studying
If you would like to work in a focused and quiet environment, you can use one of the study spaces in the library.
If you prefer to work together with fellow students, you can use the study areas in the open zones in the Passerelle and on floors 1 to 3 of Building 5.
At the Brugg-Windisch campus, you will find the right space for every learning activity.
Food and Drinks
In the cafeteria at the Brugg-Windisch campus, you receive a discount with your FH Card. Alternatively, you can bring your own food and heat it in one of the microwaves in Building 5. Seating is available both indoors and outdoors.
For a snack or a coffee in between, the Campus Bar on the ground floor of Building 5 is a great option.
Events and Nightlife
During the semester, cultural events take place regularly at the Brugg-Windisch campus, including the concert series live@Campus.
As part of Campus Cinema, a film selected by students is shown at regular intervals at the Kulturhaus Odeon.
Sport
Der FHNW Hochschulsport bietet ein vielseitiges Sportprogramm an. Du hast die Gelegenheit, dich regelmässig körperlich zu betätigen und dir unbekannte Sportarten auszuprobieren. Mit der FH-Card sind die meisten Angebote des Hochschulsports gratis.
Studierendenorganisation
The students.htu&hsi student association is the contact point for students and provides tips and support for everyday student life. The association regularly organises events such as barbecues, sports activities, game nights and an annual LAN party.
