Financial management and auditing: You will acquire action-oriented competencies in financial management. The focus is on analysing financial data and identifying and managing the financial consequences of decisions.

The Financial Management and Auditing specialisation will open up the following career areas to you:

- Financial management for medium-sized and large companies

This specialisation is offered in cooperation with the three large auditing firms PWC, Ernst & Young and KPMG, enabling you to acquire practical experience and build your network.
This specialisation teaches you how to apply your expertise to the financial management of companies. This requires the preparation of decision-relevant and trustworthy financial data as well as a targeted analysis, evaluation and interpretation of it. Interdisciplinary thinking and the development of alternative solutions is fostered. Auditing forms the basis for trustworthy communication to all stakeholders, especially to investors.
You will acquire skills in financial management and understand financial and business interrelationships:
- Standards for financial statement audits such as IFRS, FER and OR
- Consolidated accounts
- Audit strategies
- Concepts of business valuation
- Value-based management control
- Measuring, assessing and evaluating the performance of companies
