Maja Riegler

Maja Riegler

Project Manager | Make/Sense IGSAD

Responsibilities

Maja Riegler is the Project Manager of the MAKE/SENSE PhD Programme (previously Project Manager for the ECAM Graduate School) and is jointly responsible for the coordination and organisation of the MAKE/SENSE PhD Programme at the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst FHNW (HGK FHNW). Her area of responsibility includes the creation of the study programme as well as the organisational tasks in connection with the Graduate School.

Short bio

Maja Riegler is a design researcher in the field of Human Computer Interaction with an expertise in usability and user experience research. Her previous research project focused on the intersection between interaction design, material cultures and ethnography. Trained as a practical designer, Maja pursues practice-based research that produces artefacts as knowledge objects. From 2010-2015 she studied in Bern at the Bern University of the Arts (HKB BFH) and completed her Bachelor in Visual Communication. She then attended various Master's programmes, including the MA Communication Design in Bern, the MA Social Design in Vienna and the MA integrative Design at the HGK FHNW in Basel, where she most recently completed her Master's in Design (2018).
