A passionate chamber musician, Marco Scilironi has performed at the Lucerne Festival, the Festival International de Musique de Wissembourg, the Festival Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad, LuganoMusica, Musikàmera Venezia, Beethoven-Haus Bonn and Maison der la Radio in Paris, and has been invited several times to Open Chamber Music Prussia Cove. He has given solo recitals on both modern and period keyboard instruments and has appeared as soloist with the Basel Symphony Orchestra, with the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto and with Archi de Sono. Several CD recordings have been made as a natural consequence of direct collaboration with contemporary composers and have been released by Claves, Odradek Records, Concerto Classics and Seed Music. In 2014 he was awarded the annual music prize of the Fondazione Renzo Giubergia in Turin.

Marco Scilironi is a staff pianist at the Hochschule für Musik Basel and teaches in the course "Duo Strings and Piano for Bachelor Students". He is also involved in the organization of the chamber music master classes and of the "Residenzkonzerte" (concerts with students of the Hochschule at several retirement homes in Basel).
