On December 13, 2024 in Bern, Prof. Dr. Laura Suter-Dick presented state-of-the-art methodologies and chaired a session at the 3RCC symposium on Successfully Implementing New Approach Methodologies: Practical Applications in Drug Development and Clinical Practice.

The in vitro model helps close the knowledge gap in metabolism and systemic toxicity of glycol ethers and may support the safety assessment of solvents with relevant occupational exposures.

The Molecular nanotechnology group, supported by the Cell biology group, published their work in the journal RSC Nanoscale Advances.

The team isolated 18 compounds, one of which was reported for the first time as a genuine natural product showing cytotoxic activity.

The Cell Biology and In vitro Toxicology group had a strong presence at the Annual Meeting of the Swiss Society of Toxicology in Basel on November 14th 2024.
