Cell Biology and in vitro Toxicology (Laura Suter-Dick)
Job title
PhD Student
Tasks at FHNW
As part of the ORION project, I will be working on advanced 3D human in vitro models for therapeutic screening and toxicity assessment, contributing to AI-driven approaches in precision oncology and translational safety assessment.
Work background/studies
I completed my Master’s degree in Drug Sciences at the University of Basel, where I worked in Molecular and Systems Toxicology on projects testing endocrine-disrupting chemicals in in vitro models. Following this, I completed a one-year internship at Roche in Investigative and Translational Safety, focusing on human 3D skin models for predictive safety assessment and translational immunotoxicology. In the beginning of May, I joined Laura Suter-Dick’s group to start my PhD.
