Tasks at FHNW
As part of the InnoCheque XNA project, I will work with lipid-polymer hybrid nanoparticles (LPNPs) to deliver CFTR mRNA as a potential treatment for cystic fibrosis and evaluate their effects on target lung cells. In the HLS research project DO2PI, I will work with LPNPs containing quantum dots to image muscle organoids and study their response to exercise-like stimulation.

Work background/studies
I completed my apprenticeship as a Biology Laboratory Technician at Novartis. After that, I worked for a year as a Research Technician at the Biozentrum before earning my BSc in Bioanalytics and Cell Biology from FHNW. My bachelor’s thesis was completed in the lab of Oya Tagit and focused on lipid-polymer hybrid nanoparticles for non-viral nucleic acid delivery and their biological evaluation.
