Tasks at FHNW
Working with cell cultures, in particular spheroids and microphysiological systems, applied to the study of interactions of microplastics with cellular barriers.
Work background/studies
Keum Young is currently completing a Master degree at the Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul, supervised by Dr. Young-Min Hyun, Laboratory of Inflammatory Immune Response.
She holds a Bachelor of Science, Biomedical Science from the Catholic University of Korea in Bucheon. Her research interestes include cell culture and imaging, inflammatory mechanisms at the cellular and tissue level, cell–environment interactions in inflammation, and two-photon intravital microscopy.
