Alina wins SNI Image Award 2025

Congratulation to our Master student Alina Dokgöz on winning the SNI Image Award 2025 with her beautiful “Woolicum” Calcium Carbonate microstructures. SNI NanoImage Award 2025 Calcium Carbonate Microparticles synthesized by precipitation from calcium chloride and ammonium carbonate solutions. Picture was taken with a JEOL JSM-IT800 Scanning Electron Microscope at 2.00 kV using a secondary electron (SE) detector. False colors were applied using Adobe Photoshop 2025.
