Short bio
Anne Herrmann studied business psychology at the University of Applied Sciences North-East Lower Saxony in Lüneburg (2001–2007). During her studies, she worked as a Research Assistant at the SHL Group in London, GB (2004–2005). After completing her degree, she first worked as a Research & Development Consultant and later as a Senior Research & Development Consultant at OPP Ltd. in Oxford, GB (2007–2010). She then became a research associate in the Department of Psychological Decision Research and Methods at Leuphana University Lüneburg (2010–2012), and later worked in the research department of Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences Switzerland (2013–2014). During this time, she was also active as a freelance trainer and lecturer. She completed her doctoral dissertation in December 2013. Since 2014, she has been a lecturer at the School of Applied Psychology at the FHNW. In September 2017, she was appointed Professor. From 2017 to 2025, she headed the Institute for Market Offerings and Consumer Decision-Making. Since January 2026, she has been a lecturer in the Higher Education Development team.
