Background and Aim of the Study
We are pleased about your interest in our study Beyond Places: Mastering Hybrid Work Together! This study is part of our research program, targeting the design and development of modern work arrangements in Switzerland. The program focuses on how teams that work both in the office and from home can organize their hybrid collaboration optimally.
In our workshop, teams address key topics of hybrid work:
- Clarifying expectations: communication, availability, and common rules
- Managing tasks and work locations appropriately: assigning tasks suitable for remote or in-office work
- Considering needs: belonging, competence, and autonomy
The goal is to help teams reflect on and deliberately improve their collaboration.

Course of the Study
The study consists of a half-day workshop for the entire team, which can be conducted either online or on-site. In addition, each team member completes short online questionnaires
Teams with ideally four to twelve members can participate, although smaller or larger groups are also possible. A prerequisite is that teams work at least partially in a hybrid mode — that is, spending at least one day per week working from home.
Important: For the program to succeed, it is mandatory that the team participates in the workshop and that all members take part in the accompanying online surveys.
When?
The workshops will take place in 2026. The dates will be coordinated to best suit your availability and capacity.

The workshop is free of charge for all participants since it is part of a scientifically supervised intervention study.
