Python-based bioinformatics pipeline for cancer analysis

Juli – Sep 2025 | FHNW, School of Data Science in Life Sciences

  • Developed an analysis pipeline for cancer samples using RNA-Seq data and protein–protein interaction networks (Ensembl/STRING databases)
  • Tools: Unix, Python, HPC (High Performance Computing), Git

MesTrack – Indoor-Navigationsystem

April 2023 | Hackathon-Projekt, Turkish Airlines, Istanbul, Turkey

  • Leader development of an indoor navigation system to improve accessibility at airports and promote social inclusion
  • Built a real-time tracking framework using Java, Python, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Finalist (Top 10) at the Turkish Airlines Hackathon; received an offer for commercial development of the project

MesEarth – Analysis of structural integration in buildings during earthquakes

2023 | Hackathon-Projekt, Coderspace, Bursa, Turkey

  • Conceptualized a device for analyzing building structures before, during, and after seismic events, inspired by personal experience with the earthquakes of February 6, 2023
  • Integrated LoRaWAN (IoT) for robust long-range communication during infrastructure outages
  • Finalist (Top 10) at the Earthquake Hackathon 2023
