Profile
Anne Herrmann studied business psychology at the University of Applied Sciences in Lüneburg / Germany (2001–2007). During her studies she worked as a research assistant for SHL Group in London / UK (2004–2005). After finishing her studies she was employed as a Research & Development Consultant and later as a Senior Research and Development Consultant at OPP Ltd. in Oxford / UK (2007–2010). She then worked as a research psychologist and lecturer at the Department of Psychological Decision Research and Experimental Business Psychology at the Leuphana University Lüneburg (2010–2012) und later at the research department of the Kalaidos Switzerland (2013–2014). During this time, she also worked as a freelance trainer and lecturer. In December 2013 she completed her PhD on "Individual difference measures for work and career: Utilizing the advantages offered by latent variable methods to address measurement and construct validity issues" (summa cum laude). She joined the School of Applied Psychology at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland as a lecturer in 2014. In September 2017 she was appointed as professor. In November 2017 she became Head of the Institute for Market Supply and Consumer Decision-Making.
