Covalent immobilization on silica nanoparticles induces and stabilizes α-helical peptide conformations through sequence-guided surface anchoring. Optimized lysine positioning markedly enhances helicity and thermal stability while preserving molecular recognition. This strategy provides a simple route to robust, functional α-helical biointerfaces.
