Institute for Interactive Technologies

Digital interfaces for people and processes

We are a multidisciplinary computer science institute. In close cooperation with industry we design innovative methods in requirements engineering. We design new interfaces and interactive environments, develop immersive spaces and gain insights through intelligent data visualisations.

We are active in teaching in the degree programmes Data Science, Computer Science and Computer Sciences – iCompetence study programme. For example, in the Spatial Computing specialization in the degree programme Computer Science, students acquire skills in software development in the field of extended reality, simulation, real-time computer graphics, human-computer interaction, physics and game development.
