Dissertationsprojekt von Cristina Alís Raurich
15.09.2016 – 01.06.2022
Only a limited number of complete Aquitanian Graduals survived tour days. Hence this exceptional late-finding allows to better understand the corpus of Gradual-Troparies and the transmission of its repertoire through South France and the Iberian Peninsula. Thanks to its particular idiosyncrasies in the variants of its chants and tropes it is possible to identify a unique hagiographic devotion which is not shared with any of the other Aquitanian sources. One of the goals of the research is to draw relationships with existing sources and place the manuscript temporally and geographically.
