Heliophysics
The Heliophysics research group studies the dynamics of the sun, especially in high-energy domains.
The group consists of an international team of physicists collaborating with hardware- and software engineers from the institute.
- Design and construction of telescopes for space missions
- Data exploitation from these and other missions to generate high-level science data products for the scientific community
- Scientific analysis and interpretation with these data products
- High-energy solar physics, in particular X-ray observations of solar flares
- Development of future generations of high precision detectors, grids and indirect imaging techniques for x-ray observation.
