Development of young talent

The Institute of Automation promotes interest in technology among young people. The engineers of the future are specifically addressed at the events First Lego League and Real-Tec.

First Lego® League competition

FIRST LEGO® League is a programme aimed at introducing youngsters aged between 10 and 16 to science and technology in a competitive setting.

Real-Tec Studio – arousing enthusiasm for technology among young people

Real-Tec is service project run by Endress+Hauser Metso AG in Reinach/BL to support FHNW. School students are given the opportunity to gain experience in solving technical challenges using professional components.
