Biography
Catalin Arghir obtained his PhD degree from the Automatic Control Laboratory at ETH Zurich in 2020, under the supervision of Florian Dörfler. In 2014 he received his Master's degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto, under the guidance of Manfredi Maggiore. Apart of academia, he has held various industry positions in the fields of electronics manufacturing and aerospace. As of August 2023 he is a Postdoctoral researcher advised by Silvia Mastellone in a joint project between FHNW and ABB Switzerland, supported by NCCR Automation.
