Profile

Joachim Ehrenthal is Professor of Business Information Systems at FHNW. After a sabbatical at Google Cloud, he now leads the Quantum AI Competence Center. Joachim holds a PhD from the University of St.Gallen and an MSc from Mannheim University.

Teaching and Consulting Activities

Joachim teaches tech-centric modules for Quantum and AI at Bachelor and Master levels, enriched with case studies co-developed with industry. He is also engaged in strategic collaborations with FHNW partners.

Research

Evaluation of quantum algorithms, simulation, and platforms for practical adoption.
