Joachim is Professor for Business Information Systems at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, specializing on accelerating the implementation of new supply chain tech. He holds a PhD from the University of St.Gallen, and a MSc in Business Administration from Mannheim University. From his business background, his main areas of expertise are supply chain IT, distribution / last mile, and foreign trade.

Joachim teaches Supply Chain Management in FHNW’s Bachelor and Master curricula.
