Solutions for the optimal integration of people, technology and organization

Digitization, industry 4.0 and the corresponding digital technologies offer new possibilities for data-based services. Though the successful implementation of data-based services requires much more than new technologies. Only the overall optimization of the socio-technical system allows to reach the full advantage of the innovation potential of digital technologies.

This applied research examines how people, technology and organization can be integrated into a socio-technical network, in order to implement data-based services in a sustainable way. It is such a way only that the full potentials of digital technologies can be exploited.

      Impact

The project established criteria for a functioning socio-technical network as a basis for developing concrete solutions for the optimal integration of people, technology and organization.
