Our 2026 group event took us to one of Switzerland’s most traditional sports: Hornussen! Hosted by the Hornusser Gesellschaft Balzenwil, we enjoyed a fantastic autumn day learning how this unique sport is played and even took part in a little intergroup competition ourselves.
It was a great experience, full of fun, team spirit, and a new appreciation for Swiss sporting traditions!
A big thank you to HG Balzenwil for the wonderful introduction, warm hospitality, and excellent organisation!
The FHNW nanoLab visited HG Balzenwil to learn the traditional Swiss Sport Hornussen.
