      Bachelor of Science School of Business

      Our degree programmes prepare you to take an active role in the digitalised and networked business world.

      A Bachelor's programme usually takes 6-8 semesters and consists of 180 ECTS (exception: International Business Management trinational 210 ECTS). The School of Business offers degree programmes in German and in English, as well as a trilingual degree programme (trinational).

      You have the choice of various courses of study. The management courses of study teach you the skills to become a business professional with a specialisation such as economic psychology, finance or intercultural marketing. In the Business Information Technology  and Artificial Intelligence courses you will learn to find innovative solutions at the interface between business and IT.

      Betriebsökonomie

      The German Bachelor in Betriebsökonomie provides you with sound knowledge in management, economics, mathematics, statistics and law. The focus is on the Swiss framework conditions. In the final year of your studies, you choose an area of specialisation which is also listed on your diploma. This allows you to put together an individual study portfolio based on your interests and preferences.

      Business Administration (International Management)

      The degree course in Business Administration (International Management) has a global focus and teaches you the basics in management, economics, accounting, statistics and law. For full-time students a semester abroad is compulsory, for part-time students recommended. In the final year of your studies you choose an area of specialisation which is also listed on your diploma. This allows you to put together an individual study portfolio based on your interests and preferences.

      Business Artificial Intelligence

      There is a huge demand in the economy for experts in artificial intelligence (AI) who can implement intelligent processes and systems through practical and comprehensive training. In this way, they can support companies and organisations in making better use of their data and the knowledge of their employees.

      Business Information Technology

      Business information technology specialists are equally familiar with business and IT. Their job is to analyse business requirements, model and design solutions, and communicate skilfully with people in different roles and professions. Thus, they deliver the innovation that helps organisations succeed in the age of digital transformation! This study programme is held in English to optimally prepare students for international environments.

      • Location: Basel or Brugg-Windisch
      • Study Mode: Full-time or part-time
      • Admission: Minimum requirement is a completed professional baccalaureate. Further criteria
      International Business Management (trinational)

      This trilingual bachelor's programme teaches you economic and management basics such as financial accounting, intercultural management styles or marketing, all with an international orientation. The programme takes place in three different countries (Switzerland, France and Germany) over the course of 3.5 years. At the end of the course you will also receive three degrees. Integrated internships allow you to start your studies directly after the Matura.

      • Location: Basel, Colmar and Lörrach
      • Study Mode: Full-time incl. internships
      • Admission: Minimum requirement is a Swiss Matura, professional baccalaureate or specialist baccalaureate (all specialisations welcome).
      Wirtschaftsinformatik

      The study programme is offered in German. Business information technology specialists are equally familiar with business and IT.       Energie und Umwelttechnik (School of Engineering)

      Renewable energies, climate protection, the circular economy, sustainable construction and urban development are solutions to the challenges of our time. They acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for a successful career in the diverse energy and environmental sectors.
