With our Master Programmes, we open the Door to a Broad Spectrum of Applied Sciences.

In addition to state-of-the-art infrastructure and high-calibre professors, the School of Life Sciences is located virtually next door to big players in the life sciences sector. A continual exchange with the research and production departments of the industry paves the way for the latest findings in cutting-edge research to flow directly into the course of studies.

Double Degree

By studying one additional semester at a partner Institution, selected students enrolled in the MSc in Life Sciences have the possibility to receive two diplomas.

The location of the new FHNW Campus Muttenz is not only spectacular thanks to well-known companies in the neighborhood: The view over Basel and the train station close by sweeten student life. In addition to the School of Life Sciences, the new FHNW Campus houses the School of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geomatics, Civil Engineering and Geomatics as well as the School of Education and Social Work. Thus, around 3,700 students and 800 employees liven up the new location.
