Adrian Brändli is Head of the FHNW Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences of the FHNW School of Engineering and Environment in Windisch and lecturer for Culture and Communication. Previously, he worked at the Istituto Svizzero in Rome, where he was in charge of the scientific programme. He obtained a DPhil in Ancient History from the University of Oxford and conducts research into the history of Late Antiquity, early Christianity, and the social dynamics of religious conflicts. He began his academic career at the University of Bern and has held various academic positions at the Universities of Bern, Oxford and Zurich.
