      Professor in Sustainable Management and Marketing

      Profile

      Dr. Claus-Heinrich Daub is Professor of Sustainable Management and Marketing at FHNW School of Business. He is also Adjunct Professor of Sociology at the University of Basel.

      Prior to this, he held a number of management positions in strategy, research, marketing and communications and was a freelance journalist for newspapers and magazines in Germany and Switzerland. Claus is a regular speaker at international conferences and business events and author & editor of various books and publications. He is and has been a visiting professor & invited lecturer at several universities and a guest editor and board member of international scientific journals.

      He is president of the Society for Scientific Publishing and a board member & a member of advisory councils covering CSR, cleantech, green marketing, and sustainable entrepreneurship, presently e.g. for oebu, the Swiss Business Council for Sustainable Development (board member), the trade association swisscleantech (member of the scientific advisory committee), Coop Switzerland (external expert of the fund for sustainability), and the Alternative Bank Switzerland (ABS) (member of the advisory board for sustainable investments). He is jury member of Climate Launchpad and of GREEN BRANDS Switzerland.

      Claus obtained a BA from the University of Constance and earned an MA and a PhD from the University of Basel. In 2005 he did his post-doc (habilitation) on the responsibility of MNE in the process of sustainable development.
