      MediaLab FHNW

The laboratory for interdisciplinary research in the field of hybrid collaboration and multimedia applications.

      Our Offer

In the Media Lab, we investigate and explore new possibilities for interaction and collaboration in hybrid team setups using XR technologies and interactive high-resolution multi-touch displays.

      Current Projects

      • In the current aWall project, we are developing methods and tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of collaboration in distributed agile teams on the basis of extra-large interactive multi-touch boards.
      • The STIX software was tested on satellite hardware in the Medialab. The Medialab specialises in testing software under real conditions before it is sent into space. Here it was ensured that the software functions optimally on the hardware with which it will later work in space. Testing the STIX software was an important step in ensuring the smooth functioning and reliability of the satellite.
