HOLATAM – A New International Student Project Focuses on Latin America

We are excited to unveil a new fifth International Student Project: HOLATAM allows students to explore the dynamic culture and business environment of Latin America.

HOLATAM is the newest International Student Projects launched by students of the FHNW School of Business. The inaugural edition of HOLATAM will focus on the challenges and opportunities of sustainable production and consumption in Latin America. Specifically, the students will examine the agriculture and tourism sectors in Colombia and Peru in order to learn about innovative approaches to issues of sustainability and to gather insights from exploring new cultures.

After an intensive one-week seminar in Switzerland in February 2023, the HOLATAM delegation will travel to South America from 30 March – 16 April to gain first-hand insights into future-oriented initiatives in some of the world’s most dynamic environments.

We look forward to an exciting start to this one-of-a-kind project!

About the International Student Projects

The International Student Projects of the FHNW School of Business provide a unique opportunity to meet successful managers, foreign students and leaders from a range of organisations and fast-growing businesses.

These projects are organised by the students and include a one-week preparation seminar in Olten (lectures, podium discussions and other events) and a two week on-site seminar in the countries visited.

Bachelor students in their last year at the School of Business of the FHNW may apply to participate in Insight China, Focus India, connectUS, exploreASEAN or HOLATAM.
