New partnership with University of Pécs, Faculty of Business and Economics
We are happy to announce a new partnership that opens up new student exchange opportunities.
The Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Pécs is one of the oldest business schools in Hungary and has currently more than 3’000 students enrolled. Since 2022, it is a member of AACSB, contributing to the global network of business schools.
From 10-11 May 2023, we were delighted to welcome Réka Battyàni, international coordinator at the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Pécs, at FHNW in Olten and Basel to finalise our new exchange partnership.

As we are new partners, we were discussing the relevant aspect of our agreement. I met all the colleagues of the International Office, they explained me how their system works regarding the outgoing and incoming students, and how can they apply for the SEMP grant. I also had the chance to learn more about the accommodation options for students. We both held presentations about our universities, and I had a chance to do a campus tour in the campus Olten and Basel. It was a very intense and useful visit; I got a lot of insights. The colleagues of the International Office of FHNW are nice, helpful, and cooperative. I was delighted to see that our universities have so much in common, for example we use the same mobility system regarding the exchange students.
